Rigid cummerbund made of 500D IRR Cordura laminate.
QR BUCKLES ARE SOLD SEPARATELY.
KEY FEATURES:
- NIR Compliant.
- Maximally streamlined construction while maintaining 3 rows of PALS.
- Compatible with Noble and Duke vests as well as all plate carriers that allow for attachment of cummerbunds via Velcro.
- Allows for changing the buckle type.
- Compatible with dedicated quick release buckles for 3.2 QR Cummerbund.
- Allows for the attachment of PALS-standard pouches on the both sides, as well as a hook-and-loop Velcro-mounted pouches on the inside.
- Combined with our PALS side extensions, it allows the user to move the quick release buckles to the rear in order to have more space for mounting equipment on the front of the plate carrier. Additionally after attaching the extensions directly together with any of our front flaps you can have one configuration which can be used with plate carrier vests or as a chest rig on its own (after attaching suspenders).
- The design also allows for it to be used without any buckle, either attached directly under the front flap or in with side PALS extensions, which allows for example, to create a configuration with quick release buckle on one side only, or in case of failure of the quick release buckle to continue using the cummerbund.
- The way the QR buckles are mounted allows the buckles to be retracted as much as possible, thus losing only one PALS column.
- In its basic design, the Cummerbund is sized for use with QR buckles and 2 PALS side extensions. When using it without side extensions, we recommend buying a cummerbund that’s a size larger. When using it with 3 PALS extensions, we recommend buying a cummerbund that’s a size smaller.
